Bayahibe Zipline – a thrilling experience for those that want to explore the wild Dominican jungle from a Tarzan view (but in a safe way). The zipline ranch is located only a short ride from La Romana port or Bayahibe / Dominicus area hotels and it’s open to visitors of all ages from 5 years old up to 100+ (some conditions might apply). The circuit has 10 lines between 55m and 200m long, hang 85m above the ground, 14 towers, more than a mile of pure fun with breathtaking views of the Chavon valley.
Half day fun includes about and hour and half of zipline trail. Alongside of the trail you will have a number of other balance activities to test your skills and balance – a Tarzan Swing, a Rappel Tower and the Rope Phobia Machine. For more fun you can go for a kayak expedition on the Chavon river to see the flora and fauna from the water view. After all these activities you will relax at the Iguana Bar to taste homemade jam, cake, organic cocoa, fruit, coconut, Dominican coffee and soft drinks.
Full day fun is the same as the above, plus a delicious lunch at the jungle restaurant called El Indio. Delicious food including typical Dominican rice, yucca croquettes, fried eggplant, BBQ chicken, fried fish fillets and more. After lunch you can add other activities like Buggy Tour in the Sugarcane Fields (50 minutes), Horseback Riding in open fields – for experienced riders only (50 minutes) or Bike Tour in the Sugar Fields and Tropical Forest – for experienced riders only (50 minutes) – for all these additional fee applies – contact us for details and prices.
