Dreams La Romana – this 568-room all-inclusive resort sits on the nicest stretch of Playa Bayahibe, only 10 minute beach walk from the village. Most visitors say this is the best resort in Bayahibe area. Reservation-free dining in seven à la carte restaurants, 8 bars, buffet, two bistros and a café. For the adults disco, casino, daily entertainment, for the kids the Explorer’s Club, Core Zone Club for the Teens and so much more. Most of the rooms at the resort were remodeled in 2007/8, the rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and feature poolside terraces or balconies. A spa and a gym also available for the guests. Adult Only section and Preferred Club section was added recently. This is the only resort in Bayahibe / Dominicus area that is wristband-free!
Dreams Dominicus – the newest resort in the area opened at the end of October 2016. A family-friendly resort in Dominicus with 478 guest rooms. Same as the other Dreams resort, this one has all what the Dreams La Romana offers including reservation-free dining in five à la carte restaurants, a buffet, a grill and a café, wristband-free and kids club as well. With the Italian-inspired architecture you’ll feel you are in a Mediterranean paradise.
Be Live Canoa – with 532 rooms, this all-inclusive is one of the biggest resorts in the Bayahibe area. It has two swimming pools (plus one for kids), four restaurants and a 24-hour beach barbecue, four bars, three tennis courts, disco, spa and fitness center, mini-golf, kids’ club, evening entertainment, and various watersports on the docket. You won’t lack for action. The resort gets high marks for cleanliness and friendly staff.
Catalonia Gran Dominicus – this resort has 404 rooms are in Caribbean villas, which form the hotel, all of them with beautiful tropical gardens views. You can try Italian a-la-carte dishes or genuine Mexican dishes or enjoy the specialties of the steak house in completely American surroundings. The complex includes five bars where you can enjoy all types of snacks, Caribbean cocktails, juices and soft drinks.
Iberostar Hacienda Dominicus – this 496-room resort spreads back from the beach with two buildings surrounded by tropical gardens. Four restaurants include one buffet-style and three à la carte (featuring Mexican, Japanese, and steak). Kayaking. catamaraning, sailing, windsurfing, and swimming in three pools are among water activities; you can get your scuba certificate here, too, for an extra charge. A kids’ club watches over children aged 4 to 12.
Viva Dominicus Beach and Viva Dominicus Palace – the all-inclusive Viva Dominicus Beach with 530 rooms and Viva Dominicus Palace with 330 rooms, are situated next to each other on a beautiful stretch of beach, with guests of one able to share facilities of the other. (Guests of some other nearby hotels also have beach privileges here.) Windsurfing, canoeing, sailing, snorkeling, and introductory diving are among watersports included in the rates; guests can earn their scuba certification for an extra fee. The “Beach” property has three fresh-water pools, two theaters (one for live stage shows, the other for movies), a disco, a supervised kids’ club, and four restaurants, two buffet-style and two à la carte (of the latter, one is Mexican, the other a pizzeria). The “Palace” property has a full service spa and fitness center.
Cadaqués Caribe Resort & Villas – this 4-Star beachfront resort Cadaqués Caribe located just on the border of Parque Nacional del Este (The East National park), on one of the most spectacular beaches in Dominican Republic’s southeastern coast.
